The process of virus invading host cells can be divided into six steps: adsorption, invasion, shelling, synthesis, assembly and release.Adsorption is not only the key to determine the success of infection, but also is the core of its specificity. After the virus is successfully adsorbed, it will transfer the genetic material into the host cell through different patterns, that is “the invasion process”.
